1960 GMC K1000 Lighting The Night.

After your push bumper is finished up lights are the next upgrade every 4x4 needs. This is a relay set up updating the old way of wiring headlights and increasing the power by up to 30% giving them a true bright.

Don't forget to check out my 1964 GMC 1000 project there's a link to the right.
This is also another simple upgrade with some know how and a few basic tools.

 Lights mounted.

Need power with inline fuses to your relays.

Once your power goes in the relays it comes out and goes to the lights then the relay is grounded and has a self powered switch coming from in the cab to control the lights i have also hooked the front headlights up to relays as well high and low beam hooked up with the org head light switch.

All the parts i used where from NAPA auto parts right on the shelf made it out of there with everything but the wire for under 80 dollars.

Relays are also a great way to ramp up the power to your horns!

Don't forget to check out the past posts showing how the truck got to this point under Push Bumper! also if you want updates on the truck don't forget to subscribe by email at the top!
