Wheels tires AXLES and BUMPERS! What else would describe a 4x4 this truck was the first factory made 4x4 ever by gm before that it was a special order napco kit. All i have to say to that is don't fix what isn't broken because nothings as tough as our trucks built in the 60's!

Cleaned with simple green then wet sanded and cleaned again.
Took around 4 hours down here with a wire brush a putty knife degreaser and the hose with a nozzle on it.
Using rustoleum brush on oil based paint for a nice thick strong coat runs about 30 dollars a gallon.
Sanded and cleaned the bumpers with simple green as well before paint.
American steel still rolling down the road!
